metadist is an Open Source development and integration company based in Düsseldorf. For 30 years we have connected open technologies into systems that businesses and public administrations rely on — and we build and maintain Synaplan, the sovereign Open Source AI control plane.

We connect open platforms — Nextcloud, ownCloud, OpenCloud, openDesk, Keycloak, mail and messaging, ERP and line-of-business systems — through clean, documented interfaces. Where a component is missing we build it and contribute it upstream.
PHP and Symfony, Vue and TypeScript, Rust, Docker and Kubernetes. We develop maintainable software in the open, with tests, CI and documentation from day one — on your infrastructure or ours.
Our own platform brings language models, knowledge bases and communication channels under one control plane — self-hosted, auditable and GDPR-ready. We integrate it into your existing landscape.
